
Dr. Reed
Dr. Charles Reed has known since highschool that he wanted to pursue a profession that helps people heal from injuries and maintain their long term health. Originally being from Des Moines, he got his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at the University of Iowa in 1995. From there he went on to graduate from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1998 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Along the way Dr. Reed’s work ethic and passion for what he does was showcased when he was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award.
After school, Dr. Reed practiced in York, NE from 1999 to 2008. He practiced with his wife Ann who shares his passion for health and wellness and worked as a massage therapist. After practicing in New England, Dr. Reed served for 3 years as a district Governor for the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association. He then went on to practiced in Kansas City from 2008 to 2010.
Eventually Dr. Reed decided to come back to Des Moines in 2010 to help take care of his parents. He worked in several practices before deciding to buy Reset Ankeny in June 2016. Dr. Reed saw an opportunity to provide Ankeny with affordable, trustworthy chiropractic and massage therapy services. He works hard to maintain a strong sense of community and a friendly atmosphere within his practice.
When Dr. Reed isn’t working he enjoys staying active and spending time with his family. He is an active cyclist and enjoys participating in every type of riding. He loves gravel racing and has competed in races up to 240 miles! In addition to racing, Dr. Reed values family above all else. He married his wife in 1995 and has four beautiful children Lauren, Tristram, Cailean and Xavier.

Parker Brownlee
Parker is and always has been a person who wants to help others in any way possible. He grew up in the Des Moines area and after graduating from Indianola High School he decided to attend Body Wisdom Massage School in 2015. Here he decided to focus on fundamental deep tissue massage techniques with a “touch” of myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Parker has been an outstanding addition to the Reset team and continues to help patients with back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, headaches, migraines, sciatic pain, fibromyalgia, and more!
When Parker isn’t helping people recover he is taking care of his dog and five cats. He also makes sure to spend time on his other passion which is cooking. Parker loves incorporating different cultures into his cooking style and makes everything from pastas to asian style dumplings and tacos.

Daisy
Daisy is our star employee! She keeps us company up at the front desk and loves to greet new clients. Some of her favorite hobbies are playing with toys that crinkle, chasing her tail, and meeting new patients. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic and hopes to someday take over the practice!
